Founder, Jill L. Romine specializes in healthy
everyday living and eating for health and wellness promotion, including:
weight, stress and behavior management and nurturing inner harmony. She is the sole owner of the Michigan based fitness
company, Team Fit, Inc. Beginning as a
one woman show in 2006, Jill now employs a team of certified trainers. Team Fit, Inc.’s has contracts to instruct
children and adult wellness classes with local hospitals, corporations, school
districts and the United States Army.
Jill’s passion to keep up with the growing health conscious demands has led
her to start the children’s program Team Fit Goes to School.
Jill is also the founder of the
healthy food line, Simply Slender.
Her focus is on re-creating
high fat, comfort dishes with a healthy nutritional twist. She hosts food
demonstrations and workshops to teach clients how to prepare wholesome meals
for themselves and families
Jill is a Health &
Wellness Consultant and Business Development Professional. Jill partners with
organizations of all sizes to create a strategic plan for improved health and
wellness programs that will reduce childhood obesity and overall gain a healthy
bottom line. She starts by understanding the culture and needs then works to
establish goals and a wellness strategy that will engage and educate the
children. She currently works with
Henry Ford Hospitals, St. Jon Providence Hospitals, United States Army, L’Anse
Creuse School District, Chippewa Valley School District, St. Clair Shores
School District as well as surrounding Parks and Recreational Departments in
the Metro Detroit Area.
Jill is a certified personal trainer &
group fitness instructor who motivates, educates and inspires people of all
ages. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Wayne State University in
Detroit, Michigan.
Jill is also the owner of Simply Slender
which is a healthy food company that received its wholesale food license in the
summer of 2015. Jill released her third
cookbook, Small Plates, in March 2015 which focuses on nutritionally-balanced,
petite creations with big bold flavors.
Jill is also a Member Candidate of the Specialty Food Association in New
York City.
